Air Conditioning questions.
How fast can you get to my home for an AC repair?
On most repair calls in the San Antonio area we offer same-day service, and we keep evening and weekend windows open. For a true emergency, our 24/7 line dispatches a technician right away.
My AC is blowing warm air. What is wrong?
Warm air can come from a refrigerant leak, a frozen coil, a failing compressor, a dirty filter, or a thermostat issue. We diagnose the exact cause on site and give you a flat-rate price before any work starts.
Should I repair my old AC or replace it?
As a general rule, if your system is more than ten to twelve years old and the repair costs a large share of a new unit, replacement is usually the smarter long-term investment. We give you an honest comparison and never pressure you.
How often should I have my air conditioner serviced?
At least once a year, ideally in spring before peak cooling season. Regular maintenance extends the life of the system, protects efficiency, and helps prevent breakdowns on the hottest days.
Do you offer financing on a new system?
Yes. We offer financing options on qualifying installations so a new, efficient system fits your budget. Ask your technician for current details.
How much does air conditioning work cost in San Antonio?
Polar Express provides one written flat-rate price for air conditioning work in San Antonio, approved before work begins. Repair pricing depends on the failed component, refrigerant work, and equipment access. Installation pricing depends on system size, efficiency and staging, and any duct or electrical corrections. The quote does not run on an hourly meter.
Which air conditioner brands do you service?
Polar Express services all major air conditioner brands across San Antonio, including central split systems, ductless mini-splits, thermostats, and compatible indoor air quality equipment. Technicians repair systems installed by Polar Express and equipment inherited from another contractor. Parts availability and system condition are explained before any repair or replacement is approved.
